Program Description
The Graduate Artist Diploma (Gr. Art. Dip.) in Performance offered by the Schulich School of Music is a course-based program that emphasizes hands-on and dynamic learning opportunities. Our comprehensive and innovative program offers a specialized and practical curriculum designed to equip students with advanced skills in performance.

Unique Program Features
- The one-year program, focuses on the refinement of technique and master repertoire through intensive coaching, practice, and performance projects. Program requirements are flexible, with a range of performance project options including solo, chamber, recording, orchestral auditions, and creative collaborations.
- The School houses several performance spaces, research & production laboratories, and two libraries with a vast collection of music resources. It is also home to the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Music Media and Technology (CIRMMT), an inter-institutional research centre containing six dedicated research labs and work spaces.
University-Level Admission Requirements
- An eligible Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA out of a possible 4.0 GPA
- English-language proficiency
