Walter C. Sumner Foundation Scholarships

The Sumner Foundation Scholarships are open to Doctoral students in Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computing Science only.

Value & Duration* (approximate only)

$8,000 (one year, renewable)

*Amount and duration is at the discretion of the Foundation, the amount and value of the fellowships awarded could vary each year depending on applicant pool.

Each Unit may recommend three (3) candidates to GPS.

Eligibility

The Sumner Foundation Scholarships are open to Doctoral students in Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computing Science. Departments should ensure candidate's eligibility based on the criteria available at the student information page for Sumner Foundation and on the first five pages of the posted application.
