The François lab is looking for a post-doctoral candidate, with a starting date in 2023 or earlier. Our lab focuses on the theoretical study of biological systems in a broad sense, with interests ranging from immune recognition to developmental biology and evolution. The candidate should have a phD in computational physics/biophysics or a related field and a very strong interest in biology. Experience in machine learning techniques (in a broad sense) is a plus. Candidates with backgrounds in numerical approaches for complex systems are also encouraged to apply.
The candidate is expected to develop approaches combining machine learning and modelling to understand fundamental aspects of immune recognition, following up our recently published work on Universal Antigen Encoding . The candidate will be working within a strong collaboration with the US National Cancer Institute (Immunodymamics Group, Grégoire Altan-Bonnet), and will be based in Montreal.
Please send applications (including CV, a short statement and reference names) to Paul François.
