Biographical Sketch
Dr. Rose Djiana obtained her MSc degree in biochemistry from the UniversitĂ© de YaoundĂ© (Cameroon), and Ph.D in cellular and molecular biology from the UniversitĂ© de Rouen (France).Ěý She earned a “DiplĂ´me d’Étude Post-Doctorales (DEPD)” in clinical biochemistry from the UniversitĂ© de MontrĂ©al, as well a “Diploma in Management – Health Care” from the Ď㽶ĘÓƵ Faculty of Continuing Education. She joined the biochemists team at HĂ´pital du SacrĂ©-Coeur where she was assigned the responsibility for the multidisciplinary laboratory.
Seeking other career challenges she joined the Ď㽶ĘÓƵ Health Centre (MUHC) September 2010. She led preparation for laboratory relocation and activation of the MUHC Glen. ĚýShe participates in various local, regional, national and international groups or committees as scientific consultant.ĚýHer professional interests include Quality of laboratory services, and medical education. She enjoys teaching laboratory medicine to McGill medical residents in endocrinology and biochemistry as well as medical technologists. Ěý
