Professor Henry Mintzberg awarded the 2006 Prix Gérard-Parizeau

On April 11, Professor Henry Mintzberg was awarded the 2006 Prix Gérard-Parizeau. Created in 2000 by the Fonds Gérard-Parizeau, the prize is awarded to a professor or researcher for the exceptional merit of his research work in finance, economics or history. Professor Mintzberg was nominated for his outstanding, insightful research that has deepened the understanding of managing all types of organizations -- business, governmental and voluntary, large and small, local and international; his exploration of the nature of managerial work across sectors and across the world; and his passion for developing reflective managers who learn from themselves and each other.
