Professor Arvind Karunakaran wins the William H. Newman Award
Congratulations to Professor Arvind Karunakaran who was presented with the 2019 William H. Newman Award at this year’s Academy of Management.
Of twenty shortlisted candidates, Professor Karunakaran is one of two winners, securing the distinction for his paper, "Front-Line Professionals in the Wake of Digital Scrutiny: The Paradox of Public Accountability,” which was submitted to Organizational Communications and Information Systems.
The Academy of Management's William H. Newman Award recognizes the best annual meeting paper based on a dissertation. The award is presented to single-authored papers based on a doctoral dissertation completed within the past three years.
