PROF. KARL MOORE CALLS ON NORTEL CEO MIKE ZAFIROVSKI TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE
Published: 17 January 2009
With Nortel Networks Corp. in bankruptcy protection and its
future uncertain, some observers say it's time for CEO Mike
Zafirovski to fall on his sword when it comes to hefty executive
compensation packages and perks such as use of the corporate jet...
"I think that the right thing to do is step up to the plate and
take a significant cut in compensation," said Karl Moore, a
business professor at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ. "He's already a rich man
with more money than he can spend. It's now a question of
leadership."
