People Tend To Eat Better At Home

Home is where the heart is, as they say. It is also where the healthy meals and herbal supplements tend to be. According to recent research, individuals tend to eat the most nutritious meals at home, not at work or in restaurants.

The study, which appeared in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, also addressed why people appear to be more likely to eat right at home than when out and about. To do so, scientists from Ï㽶ÊÓƵ interviewed 160 women about how they felt after eating certain types of meals.

They found that participants who feel good at home are more likely to cook and eat a wholesome meal. These people tended to feel more satisfaction after the healthy meal, too, which appears to create a feedback loop of positive reinforcement, the team said.
