NEW BOSS FLYING INTO TURBULENCE

Calin Rovinescu, the 52-year-old lawyer turned airline executive and then merger maker, took over Air Canada's cockpit today as the company faces a cash crunch, steeply declining travel demand, strong competition from WestJet Airlines and tough labour negotiations. Karl Moore, senior professor at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ's Desautels School of Management, said Rovinescu was chosen because he brings the right qualities and experience to Air Canada's table.
