McGill racks up accolades for excellence in higher education advancement
On January 11, Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Advancement (UA) took home seven awards from the annual Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District I Excellence Awards. UA faced stiff competition from counterparts at Ivy League schools and other top universities in Canada and the northeast U.S., but its quick, successful pivot to virtual programming during the pandemic made an impression. Seven medals—four gold, one silver, and two bronze—recognized UA for best-in-class alumni relations, fundraising and communications initiatives, including a webinar series hosted by Professor Karl Moore at the Desautels Faculty of Management that reached more than 1,200 alumni around the world.
