McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA alumnus gets top job at Longueuil Police

Lebanon native Fady Dagher (EMBA'12) has lived in Montreal since 1986. When he took over from Denis Desroches as chief of the Longueuil police in February, many on the south shore force didn’t want another Montrealer in charge.
So, Mr. Dagher turned his typical, drab office into a convivial space that reflected his heritage. Then, he met with his employees in that office. As a result, Mr. Dagher says that “Dissent quickly evaporated.” Rather than laying his own plan on the Longueuil police, Mr. Dagher plans to bring an inclusive vision to the way the force works.
