Everyone should have basic financial knowledge, even if they have not yet accumulated much wealth, according to Benjamin Croitoru, Finance Professor and Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs at Desautels. The course is a good place to start, Croitoru told CTV News Edmonton. "You do not need a huge amount of knowledge and, perhaps even more importantly, you do not need a lot to get started and to make a big difference in the long term as long as you are consistent."
