Ferring Canada's donation to have lasting impact on Desautels Faculty of Management
Ferring Canada, a subsidiary of Ferring Pharmaceuticals, has contributed a $2-million dollar donation to the Faculties of Management and Medicine at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, which will create new fellowships for graduate students working in the domains of health sciences and health management and leadership.
Within the Faculty of Management, the donation will enable the creation of the Ferring Fellowships in Health Leadership, which will be offered through the International Masters for Health Leadership (IMHL) program to incoming graduate students whose work aims to advance health-care delivery.Â
“We deeply appreciate the generosity of Ferring Pharmaceuticals and the vision of our International Advisory Board member, Michel Pettigrew, BCom’76. This donation will have a lasting impact on the Desautels Faculty of Management by enabling us to expand and improve our teaching and learning facilities.  In addition, through the establishment of the Ferring Fellowships in Health Leadership, we will be able to attract more health practitioners, both clinical and managerial, from across the world to our International Masters in Health Leadership program.
I’m confident that this will have a positive impact on health care management globally.  Merci, Michel!â€
