Desautels students take second place in CBS Global Case Competition
Four McGill students took home second place at the Copenhagen Business School (CBS) Global Case Competition, the largest case competition in the world, over the weekend.
BCom students Ariane Dusablon, Raphael Roel, Anne Sophie Levee, and Quentin Amaudry represented Ï㽶ÊÓƵ in the case competition, which invited students to solve a real-life business challenge faced by Novo Nordisk, the second largest insulin producer worldwide.
Six hundred teams from around the world were tasked with producing a short slide deck over a 24-hour period, before nine teams moved through to the semi-finals. Following their impressive 5am presentation, the McGill team was named as one of the three finalists.
For the final round, teams were flown to Copenhagen to present to executives from Novo Nordisk. The McGill team’s presentation, which proposed Novo Nordisk achieve circular economy status and go zero-waste, was awarded second place, with Anne-Sophie Levee also receiving the Best Speaker Award.
The Desautels Faculty of Management would like to congratulate Ariane, Raphael, Anne Sophie, and Quentin on their high achievement in this prestigious case competition.
