Desautels MBA students win 3rd place at the CSR Case Competition

On February 13, 2010 the MBA team hailing from McGill's Desautels Faculty of Management won 3rd place at the Rotman Net Impact CSR Case Competition in Toronto. The team included MBA candidates Annie Chau, Yuanyou Yu, Jelena Dobric, and Sachin Karnakote. The team took home a cash prize of $1,500, and ranked 3rd, competing against 23 teams from 12 business schools across Canada and the U.S. The judges commended the team on their thorough analysis and solid understanding of the geopolitical environment discussed in the case.

The Rotman CSR Case Competition is a unique opportunity for MBA students from N. America to showcase their creativity and analytical skills in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility. The goal of this competition is to raise awareness of CSR among future decision makers.
