On Friday, March 6, 2009, at the McGill Bronfman Building, Jean Francois Courville, President and CEO, MFC Global Investment Management; Jasmine Tehara, Associate Vice-President, Business Process Solutions TD Wealth Management; and fourteen other distinguished leaders from various industries will speak at the 6th edition of the Desautels Management Leadership Seminar.

The seminar will allow first-year management students the opportunity to interact with executives and obtain in-depth knowledge on their potential careers.Ìý In addition to the various presentations, the students will attend a workshop on sustainable consulting and business practices and participate in a case competition.

About the Desautels Management Leadership Seminar
This year marks the sixth consecutive running of the Desautels Management Leadership Seminar, which has become the premier academic event for first and second year students. A committee of twelve students organizes a two-day event where industry representatives come together and engage students through speeches, networking and interactive workshops aimed to compliment the knowledge learned in the classroom with practical application.
