A conversation with McGill Dobson judge Alexandra Conliffe

Alexandra Conliffe was a judge for the semi-final round of the 2017 McGill Dobson Cup’s Social Enterprise track. She is the Policy Innovation Director for the Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship, and used to be VP Operations for Engineers Without Borders Canada.

She recently sat down with the Dobson Chronicles to talk about public service, women in entrepreneurship, and the passion she saw in the teams she judged at the McGill Dobson Cup. Ms. Conliffe also spoke about the role that education plays in current-day entrepreneurship, and how universities are playing a more active role in supporting student startups.
