Bronfman Building closed, classes relocated

Published: 14 July 2012

Please note that on the recommendation of both the McGill Facilities team and Security Services, the Bronfman Building, 1001 Sherbrooke St. W, is currently closed and will remain so until Tuesday July 17th at the earliest.

The building closure is due to a substantial flood that occurred overnight on Thursday originating in a fourth-floor bathroom undergoing renovation.  Keeping the building closed will ensure that none of the staff and students who use the building are exposed to any potential risks caused by the current state of the building and will allow the remediation team to focus on getting the space dried out and usable for next week. There will be no card access to the building until Tuesday. A more complete update will follow on Monday giving details about the status of the building.

Please see the table below for a list of affected courses and their new locations.
