Bombardier paid arms dealer $35m to secure train contract

Karl Moore, a professor of business strategy at McGill University's Desautels School of Management, said that the suggestion of corruption is unlikely.
"It's a blip," Moore said. "I don't recall anything like this happening before with Bombardier."
The Beaudoin/Bombardier family that controls the company is especially vigilant about its public reputation, Moore said, agreeing with Macdonald that Bombardier has stringent vetting procedures and strict ethical guidelines when picking representatives and awarding them fees.
