Announcing the 2023 Lionel Pelham Kent Scholarship recipients
Congratulations to Simon Tardif (µþ°ä´Ç³¾â€™22), Talar Dimitian (µþ°ä´Ç³¾â€™22), Kyra Swift (UOttawa BCom’21), Kar Yan Chin (µþ°ä´Ç³¾â€™22), Tian Cheng Huang (µþ°ä´Ç³¾â€™22), and Khalël Fung (BCom’22) who were awarded the Lionel Pelham Kent Scholarship by the Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting (CGPA) program.
In the memory of Lionel Pelham Kent, CA, this scholarship was established in 1998 to recognize academic excellence and strong communication skills among students entering the final year of the GCPA program.
This year’s capstone case featured a Canadian business that operated in the pet food industry. The GCPA program was thrilled to welcome David Potofsky and Alexandra Chéné as guest judges for the scholarship round.
