Aldo founder passes the torch to his son
Aldo Bensadoun (BCom'64, LLD'12) is stepping down as chairman of the company that bears his name, as is CEO Patrik Frisk — but continuity won’t be a problem: Bensadoun’s son, David, is taking on the CEO job, starting this April.
In addition to serving on the Desautels International Advisory Board, he has been involved with organizations like the Jewish General Hospital and the Canadian Association of Aids Research. Before founding his own company, Bensadoun worked at competitor Yellow Shoes. As for his eldest son, David, he’s been at Aldo since 1995.
