Seminar Title:
A Numbers Game: Quantification of Work, Accidental Gamification and Worker Productivity
Aruna Ranganathan is Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior at the Stanford Graduate School of Business
Professor Ranganathan's research agenda examines when and why identification with work matters and investigates its implications for workers, organizations and occupations. She develops this agenda through three related research streams that examine how identification with work affects (1) individual worker productivity and pricing, (2) gender inequality in organizations, and (3) the design of occupational institutions.
