The Career Services at the Desautels Faculty of Management will host a two day Investment Banking Information /Investment Management event on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 and Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. at the Centre Mont-Royal (2200 Mansfield, Montreal).

This is the perfect opportunity for students interested in Investment Banking and Investment Management to meet top Canadian and US Investment Banking firms.

This two day condensed event has been organized in order to cut down on the number of individual Investment Banking Information Sessions you will have to attend this Fall. Company representatives will be on hand throughout the event to mingle with students and assess their strengths as potential employees; this is your chance to network with them and get yourself noticed! Make a good impression by coming prepared: bring copies of your updated resume (you will still be required to apply through myFuture for job opportunities); research the participating companies’ websites and learn more about them; think of questions you’d like to ask; dress professionally in business attire!

The day of the event, students are required to present themselves to the registration table a minimum of 15 minutes BEFORE their targeted session begins. Note we will not be admitting late comers to the presentations.

A lunch will be served where students can further network with company representatives

You will be required to show your McGill ID as attendance will be taken.

Dress Code is Business Suits. Anyone not dressed appropriately will not be permitted to attend.
