Finance Interview Prep
In Conjunction with the McGill Investment Club, we are pleased
to offer FINANCE INTERVIEW PREP. Come hear from Alumni at CIBC and
RBC. Our objective for the session is to help empower our BCom
students to bring out the best in themselves as they address key
issues in the I-Banking recruitment process; and more specifically
how to be successful in their interview.
Each speaker will present one by one. The presentation will be
informal and an interactive one covering some issues that we know
students are anxious to learn about.

• Brief presentation about your company or discuss the I-Banking
industry & culture in general
• What does your company look for in a candidate and what would set
them apart from a pool of excellent & talented
individuals
• Nature of the work and what are the prevalent qualities and
skills that are needed to succeed in this field
• How to prepare for and effectively deliver in technical &
behavioural interviews, what are the best resources guides students
should consult
• Tips to prepare themselves mentally and physically for a grueling
Sept schedule (strategy, time-mgmt, dos & don’ts, networking
finesse)
