Andrew Richardson
Andrew Richardson is the President and CEO of Targray, a diversified multinational provider of commodities and specialty materials for the Solar, Biofuels, and Battery industries. The company was founded by his father Tom in 1989 to supply materials to the compact disc manufacturing industry.
A native of Beaconsfield, Quebec, Andrew started his career at Targray while studying Economics & Finance at McGill. Beginning as a Distribution Manager, he was promoted to positions of increasing importance prior to being named President in 2007. Under his stewardship, the company has shifted its industry focus from compact discs to renewable energy commodities, while increasing its annual revenue by over 600 percent.
Today, Targray is one of the fastest-growing private companies in Canada, with 530M CAD in annual sales and office locations in 8 countries. As a major supplier of materials for solar panel and battery manufacturing, and one of the largest suppliers of biodiesel in North America and Europe, the company carries the rare distinction of being a market leader in multiple cleantech sectors.
