There are ways to ensure marketers are not fumbling in the dark when it comes to getting the most out of using emotion in their marketing campaigns. From billboards and adverts to their company website, my research shows that emotions such as shame and guilt can be used to create a favourable response from consumers.

Mississauga will soon be home to the largest of five new Simons stores scheduled to open across Canada, marking only the second time the company has set up shop outside Quebec.

Marvin Corber has carried a secret with him for some 60 years and on Oct. 29, he decided to tell all during the Convocation in which he was awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from McGill.
“Truth be told, I don’t have an undergraduate degree from McGill,” Corber told the graduating Class of 2014 during his address at Place des Arts.
