Sarah Botting-Provost

Sarah Botting-Provost received a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology in 2016 and completed a Master of Science in Epidemiology in 2020, both at University of Montreal. Her MSc thesis project investigated predictors of cervical pre-cancer treatment failures using data from a Canada-wide randomized controlled trial ().

After spending some time managing a clinical research team at Montreal’s Jewish General Hospital, Sarah joined McGill’s Division of Cancer Epidemiology as a Research Assistant in October 2021. She is eager to enhance her expertise in HPV and cervical cancer, while also broadening her research experience thanks to the team’s diverse interests. Outside of the office, Sarah undertakes some pedagogical endeavors, tutoring math and science for grade 6 through undergraduate-level students and volunteering for HPV Global action, a non-profit with the mission of raising awareness for positive sexual and reproductive health.
