Biography:
Dr. Brian E. Robinson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography. He investigates environmental policy and governance, often at watershed scales, and the role these plays in development in poorer regions of the world. His projects focus on the well-being and ecological impacts of resource governance and policy, with fieldwork in China, Ghana, Senegal, Kenya, and Canada. His methods draw from environmental and development economics, development geography, ecology, and land systems science. He holds a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, master’s degrees from MIT, and a BS from Georgia Tech.Â
