Students needing to register for BIOL 101 and/or BIOL 102 (1 credit lab component only)ÌýÌý
To request registration approval(s):

  • PleaseÌýannemarie.lheureux [at] mcgill.ca, with the course number.
  • IndicateÌýifÌýyou have already completed, or will simultaneously be completing, the associated lecture component(s).
  • Please provide your McGill student ID number and your preferredÌýlab time.

If you need to register for a lab section that is full:Ìý
Your best chance to get your preferred lab time is to register for any of the lab sections still available.

  • On the first day of the term, use the course’s discussion board to post your preferred lab day.
  • When you find a student to switch with, use the QUICK ADD/DROP menu at the same time.
  • No lab switches will beÌýallowed after the first lab, which starts on the second week of the term.

If the course you need to register for is full:Ìý

  • Please email annemarie.lheureux [at] mcgill.ca, includeÌýyour McGill student ID number, your preferred lab day to fit your schedule, and the reason for needing the course this year.
  • If you still cannot find a spot using the above-stated instructions, come to the lab on the preferred dayÌýthat fitsÌýyour schedule.
  • Please wait outside room D6 of the Lyman Duff Medical Building, at least 15 minutes, before the start of the lab.
  • If a lab space is available, you might get a space for that lab day.
    You must still come to your registered lab day, even if it is scheduled earlier in the week, to avoid losingÌýyour space in the course.

NOTE: Attending the first lab, starting on the second week of the semester, is compulsory,Ìýto maintain your registration in the course. If you are not present, your space will be given to another student, also waiting for a spot and is present in the lab.

You will receive all the information you need about the labs, at the first lecture for the course and on the myCourses page, when it becomes available, at the start of the semester.
