The program is capped at 20 students. Only current undergraduate students can participate in the program. Selection to the program is based on academic performance and character references. Students must be able and willing to work within groups. Selection may also reflect the program's goal of having a balanced interdisciplinary student body

To apply

You must submit the following documents:

•

• Letter of intent (maximum length: 2 pages; can be written in French or English) - PDF format only;

The letter is a place for you to bring in everything that is not in other documents you submit but are relevant. That would relate to who you are, what interests you and who you want to become. Here are examples of questions you may want to answer: What is attracting you to participate in the MBFSS? Is there anything in your past experience, not necessarily from school, that you think makes you fit to participate in a semester-long abroad program away from home? Have you been travelling abroad? Have you spent time working and living in a group? What do you expect from the MBFSS? How you will benefit from this experience?

  • A careful reading of the applicant's letter of intent.

**The pool of applicants varies from year to year, because of this, the relative weighting of these criteria may also vary from year to year
