The Institute for Human Development and Well‐Being (IHDW) is a transdisciplinary unitled by McGill's Faculty of Education. The IHDW draws together researchers from McGill'sDepartments of Family Medicine, Educational and Counselling Psychology, IntegratedStudies in Education, Anthropology, Kinesiology and Physical Education, Psychiatry, theSchool of Urban Planning, the School of Social Work, and the Faculty of Dentistry.

More Than Words (Montreal, QC)
More Than Words is a 4-year project (2019-2023) thatseeks to investigate and learn from the use of Indigenous-focused youth-led survivor engagement through the arts, looking at impacts on the producers themselves (young people) and on their families and communities in relation to their experiences of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV).

The Participatory Cultures Lab (PCL) (Montreal, QC)
The Participatory Cultures Lab () was established in 2010 by Dr. Claudia Mitchell in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education at 㽶Ƶ. The PCL is organized around the study and use of visual and participatory approaches to research and social action, and involves the work of collaborators and research students engaged in the study of participatory research.
