To receive a maintained status confirmation, the employee concerned must now personally send an email to聽immigration.apo [at] mcgill.ca.
The employee's departmental administrator must be added to the email in cc.
In their email, the employee must clearly answer the following questions relevant to their scenario and provide the documents listed below. An email will be sent back confirming maintained status. 鈥淢aintained status鈥� was previously called "implied status". In the following scenarios, IRPR refers to the聽Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations.
Scenario 1 : Work Permit Renewal (IRPR 186(u))
