Sonja SolomunÌýis a Faculty Associate at the Max Bell School of Public Policy and the Deputy Director of the Centre for Media, Technology and Democracy at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ. She is currently completing her PhD at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, where she works on platform governance, climate justice and the environmental implications of AI and platforms. She has published on these and other topics in the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology,ÌýFirst Monday, and others.
Sonja is a 2022-2024 Fellow at theÌýÌýin Washington, D.C and a Research Affiliate at theÌý. She is also presently a Research Scholar at theÌý, a member of theÌý, and a founding member of theÌý. In the past, she has been a research affiliate at the Center for Information, Technology, and Public Life (CITAP) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC), and has co-founded the Coalition for Critical Technology.
