Research opportunities:
I am currently looking for individuals interested in pursuing PhD studies in transportation. Several PhD positions will be available as part of a research project evaluating the impact of a new light rail project (REM) in Montreal, starting in Fall 2025. Candidates should have experience in data analysis, geospatial analysis and a background in transportation studies. Ahmed is currently the co-editor in chief of听, he is also serving as an editor for听听 He is currently serving on the board of directors for the regional public transport authority in Montreal听, where he also serving on the committee in charge of the customer experience (Comit茅 charg茅 de la qualit茅 des services aux usagers de transport collectif). He is a member of scientific editorial board of the听听听补苍诲听. He served on several committees at the听听in the past including the Committee on Public Transportation Planning and Development, AP025 (2011 - 2014; 2014 - 2017; & 2017 - 2020) and Public Transportation Marketing and Fare Policy, AP030 (2012 鈥� 2015, 2015 - 2018, & 2018 - 2021). He also served as the elected chair and board member of the听听(2018 鈥� 2021).
