Daniele Malomo
ProfessorÌýMalomo's areas of expertise are structural and earthquake engineering. The main focus of his research is on computationalÌýmodeling of masonry, heritage and reinforced concrete systems,Ìýcollapse analysis of large-scale structures and infrastructures, development of hybrid DEM/FEM numericalÌýtechniques. Since 2021, he serves in the Board of Directors of theÌýCanadian chapter of theÌýInternational Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS). His work has been recently awarded by The Masonry Society (TMS), Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center (PEER) and the International Association of Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE).
