GEOG 520 Agriculture, Environment, and Food Security (3 unités)

Géographie : This course will consider multiple dimensions of the food security-environment challenge, including the biophysical, economic, nutritional, socio-political, and policy/institutional. It will use a global perspective, drawing upon both global-scale research as well as case studies from different regions of the world to understand the geography of agricultural production, its environmental footprint, and of malnutrition.

  • Prerequisite(s): ENVR 201, and NUTR 341 or any 300 or 400-level course in agricultural science, ecology, environment, economics, geography, or nutrition, or with permission of instructor.
