Overview

Islamic Studies : Focus on medium-length authentic readings on social, political, and literary topics as well as the similarities and differences between West and East in terms of customs, traditions, festivals, and marriage.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Instructors: There are no professors associated with this course for the 2024-2025 academic year.

  • Prerequisite: Department placement test, instructor approval.

  • Students who participate at this level have studied Arabic for the equivalent of three semesters in a formal setting and have acquired knowledge of fundamental grammatical structures that enable them to produce longer and compound sentences about familiar topics.
