Anthropologie : Overview of the history, languages and cultures of the region. Examination of the social institutions, cultural patterns, subsistence practices and environmental settings of major social groups, including hunter-foragers, fishers, pastoralists, agro-pastoralists, and cultivators. Discussion of current theoretical and ethnological issues in the study of culture and social change.
