Overview

Civil Engineering : Introduction to molecular techniques used to characterize microbial communities in environmental biotechnology systems. Using real samples, this lab intensive course will introduce rÏ㽶ÊÓƵ-targeted techniques including PCR-terminal restriction fragment length polymorphism (tRFLP), quantitative PCR, clone sequencing, fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), and related bioinformatics analyses.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2020-2021 academic year.
