Topics covered include: automatic control; measurement and primary elements; flow measurement; final control elements; automatic control theory; analysers; computers; distributed control systems; batch control and ladder diagrams; programmable controllers; selection and specification of instrumentation; review. Optional labs will complement the learning process.
