Program Requirements
Drawing on a variety of cross-disciplinary courses—including strategy, organizational behaviour, entrepreneurship, and international business—this concentration provides students with an integrated perspective on leading and shaping strategy to address today’s global business issues. Students develop the skills valued by employers in consulting, strategic planning, business development, project management, and related fields. Among the issues covered are how to take a firm international; how to lead and manage talent; how to manage a multicultural workforce; how to launch a new venture; how to negotiate effectively; and how to promote sustainable development.

Overview
Industrial Relations : The objective of the course is to show the similarities and differences between the ways governments can create prosperity, and the ways companies can create wealth. Overview
Management Policy : Exploring how different environments enable some competitive modes and maneuvers while constraining others. ORGB 633 Managerial Negotiations (3 credits)
Overview
Organizational Behaviour : Negotiating is a critical managerial skill. The purpose of this course is to allow students to learn to be more effective negotiators. The class environment used to accomplish this goal includes many exercises, personality inventories, and cases. The focus of the course will be on the processes of bargaining and the emphasis is "hands on" learning, although theories of negotiation and research examining negotiation will also be covered. Each student will have a great deal of control over how much he or she will develop into a better negotiator as a result of participating in this course.
