Ce certificat d'études supérieures s'adresse aux professionnels de la santé en exercice souhaitant développer leurs aptitudes en matière de leadership pour poursuivre une carrière en gestion, ou aux gestionnaires et administrateurs souhaitant mettre à niveau leurs connaissances du domaine des affaires et de la gestion pour postuler à des fonctions offrant de plus grandes responsabilités. On insiste sur les changements et les défis actuels des systèmes de santé au Canada, tels que les nouveaux modèles de financement, l'évolution des structures organisationnelles, les défis que doivent relever les ressources humaines, la durabilité financière et une plus grande demande d'intégration. On privilégie une approche d’enseignement et d'apprentissage par résolution de problèmes. Les étudiants appliquent à un problème opérationnel réel les concepts théoriques d'analyse et de recherche de solutions pratiques et novatrices qu'ils ont appris.
