Vue d'ensemble
Développement international : This is a general survey course intended to familiarize students with the complexities surrounding the interaction between culture and development from a variety of theoretical perspectives. Specific themes may include religion, democracy, gender, diaspora communities and the environment, using relevant case studies from the developing world.

Prerequisite(s): A 200 or 300 level course related to International Development, or permission of instructor.
Restriction(s): Not open to students who have taken INTD 397 in Winter 2014 or Winter 2015.
