Allemand (Arts) : This course deals with German literary texts of the Romantic period, studied in their literary, historical, cultural and sociological context. References will be made to the other arts, in particular to music. Writers studied will include: Hoffmann, Eichendorff, Novalis, Hoffmann, Kleist, and Tieck.
