Overview

Urban Planning : Transdisciplinary perspectives on understanding continuity and change in contemporary metropolitan areas with an emphasis on North America. Urban form, structure, growth, and development in urban, suburban, and periurban contexts; critical questions of social, economic, and ecological sustainability, including nature-culture tensions. Cultural landscapes, environment-behaviour studies, and critical regionalism. Implications for reflective practice in planning and urban design.
