Overview

Social Work : This course explores the social and psychological construction of maternal subjectivity, maternal ambivalence and implications for clinical practice. It also explores the recent emphasis in social work on engaging fathers. Students are encouraged to reflect and draw on their experience as parents, children and social workers in their discussion and written work.
