Wednesday, November 13, 2024 12:00to13:00
Empowering Jewish Students and Navigating Trauma

Coinciding with the grim anniversary of October 7th,Ìý this 3-part workshop series will provide Jewish students with a safe, supportive environment to explore and process the unique impact of intergenerational trauma, particularly as it relates to the steep rise of antisemitism and the current Jewish experience. Each workshop will include elements of psychoeducation, group discussion, and exercises aimed at fostering self-awareness, connection, and empowerment. While each workshop will stand alone, they will also build upon each other to provide a deeper understanding of the relationship between trauma, the nervous system, and empowerment.Ìý Please feel free to register for one or all sessions.Ìý Kindly register 24 hours prior to the start of the support group.

This support group is facilitated by Dr. Tamara Soles, a psychologist and founderÌýofÌýÌýin Montreal, QC. She is a frequent guest lecturer and sought-after mental health speaker.
