Professional activities: 

Yufang is the McGill Chapter Lead of Canadian Institutes of Health Research - Institute of Gender and Health Trainee Network, and a graduate student member of Centre for Research on Brain, Language and Music. She is also part of the cross-disciplinary Language Acquisition Program. Yufang reviews articles for Applied Psycholinguistics, Journal of Experimental Child Psychology, and Scientific Studies of Reading. She was teaching assistant to Statistics for Experimental Design at Department of Psychology during 2018-2019.

Current research: 

Yufang's research interests concern language development and developmental disorders. Currently her research focuses on how speech perception and production intertwined facilitate language acquisition in infancy and how sex hormones and language environment shapes one’s developmental trajectory.
