McGill's Department of Psychology ranks 21st in the Times Higher Education Top 50 list

McGill provides a top-tier education in a wide variety of fields, as highlighted in the聽, released on January 22 by Times Higher Education (THE).聽
McGill ranks among the top 90聽in the world聽in all of the 11 subjects assessed, placing six subjects in the top 50.聽The聽number of聽institutions of聽higher education聽considered varied by discipline, from 389 for聽Law聽to聽1,488 for Engineering.聽
The University鈥檚 top performer was Psychology, which jumped from 28th聽in the 2024 rankings to 21st聽this year, tied with Northwestern University. Medical and Health聽ranked聽29th. Other聽Top聽50 rankings include Law (33rd), Education Studies (38th), Life Sciences (40th) and Social Sciences (41st).聽
