When Professor Sebastien Breau of the Department of Geography (far left) first joined the 50s hockey team back in 2010, Vincent (second from left) was only seven years old. Now a first-year Statistics and Computer Science student at McGill, Vincent and his dad helped their team win the coveted intramurals ice hockey championship mug.Â
On Sunday, March 19th, the 50s closed the season with a 7-4 win over their opponents in the Tier 3 division final. According to David Melmed, team captain and historian, this is the third time the 50s bring home the honours over their storied franchise, which dates back to 1994 when a group of graduate students in biology organized the team’s first outing.
Congratulations to the whole team!Â
